MCAS Success!!

Dear Harrington Families,

We had a busy week of MCAS Math testing in Grades 3 and 4 this week. I am happy to report that our students did an outstanding job taking this annual state test and each day they were well prepared and ready to go!! Thank you for your support in getting students to school on time and for giving them encouragement each day.  I also would like to thank our 3rd and 4th grade teachers and staff for all of the work they did to prepare our students and administer the tests.

As always, please contact me with any questions, concerns or comments. We appreciate your support of our learning community.

Sincerely

Mr. Michael LaCava, Principal

Fourth Grade Readers

Each day 2 fourth grade students read our morning announcements.  This week our readers were:  Jesse Gardner, Elizabeth Gatto, Jon Proia, Bobby Turner, Fei Lam Won, and Hal Post

Dismissal Reminder

A quick reminder that if you are dismissing your child before our regular dismissal time you need to send in a note to the teacher and/or call ahead of time.  No students will be dismissed from the office after 3:00 p.m. After 3:00 please proceed to the cafeteria doors for our regular dismissal time.

Reminder—CORI Checks

With many upcoming events just a quick reminder that ALL volunteers need to have a completed CORI check on file in the office in order to participate or chaperone a school activity including Field Trips.  If you have any questions about CORI’s, please contact Mrs. Gareri or Mrs. Bevington in the Main Office.
